I like the idea of attaching a movie camera to a demoltion derby car (or school bus) instead of a video camera because in each crash you get static showing on the video camera where as on the movie camera it works just fine. problem is most demolition derbies are at night so using the 160 film for night will be too grainy. Anyone have any suggestions? Maybe I should use 16mm and 160 film?

There is a 200 asa film available from Kodak and Super8 sound in burbank california has several higher speed films(up to 800asa). The only problem with the super 8 sound films is they are negative. I haven't shot the high speed films myself but I hear they aren't as bad as you might think for grain. I'd be leary about using 16 because of the cost of the camera but if you can build a kick ass casing then GO FOR IT!!!!!!
